THE ART EXHIBITION SA is a visual arts initiative that helps emerging artists grow, exhibit and sell their work. It is managed by Uthingo Arts, Heritage & Recreation, in partnership with the City of Ekurhuleni – Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture Department, Visual Arts Division, and funded by the National Lotteries Commission. Twenty Gauteng-based artists will be selected. They receive accredited training, a R4,000 stipend and a place in a professional exhibition at Springs Art Gallery. The theme, Inani Lombono: Currency of Sight, treats the way you see the world as something valuable. We want to see your perspective, your ideas and your voice.
